Winter Realm Snowflake

This crochet snowflake pattern has 8 rounds and the finished size is about 4".  The front post stitches and optional popcorn stitches adds texture to these snowflakes.  Just a small amount of size 10 crochet thread is needed to make one.  For the examples pictures I used Aunt Lydia's size 10 thread in the colors Violet, Wood Violet, Cream, Delft, Aqua, and Silver. If you would like just the written pattern, it is available here- https://www.draiguna.com/p/winter-realm-snowflake-printer-friendly_12.html
Happy crocheting!

There is also an ad-free printable version of this pattern in the ebook Winterwoven Snowflakes.
It is available to purchase in my Ravelry Store and Etsy shop here-

Blocking and Finishing

It is optional but recommended to block your finished piece. Fill a bowl with water and add some liquid starch if you prefer the snowflake to be lightly stiffened. Soak the snowflake and gently press out any excess liquid, being careful not to pull or twist on the stitches. Lay it flat on a blocking mat and pin the snowflake working from the center out to the edges. Allow it to dry completely before removing the pins.
