A Few Projects

This past week I made two doilies and worked on some orders.  I'm also preparing to update my etsy shop with more doilies, bookmarks, and other things soon! :D  Here are a few crochet projects that I've been working on-

I finished this order of flower bookmarks yesterday.  The pink flower is made with Garden size 10 thread in pink and fern.  The red flower is made with Knit Picks Curio in Hollyberry and Ivy.  The light lavender flower is made with Knit Picks Curio in Ice Lily and Sagebrush.  All three flowers are made with a 1.75 mm hook.

I'm almost finished with an order for 100 bookmarks.  Just a few more to go and then I will block them and make the tassels!  The pattern is called Picot, Picot by Annie Potter.

For this doily I used size 10 thread and a 1.5 mm hook.  The pattern is called Pineapple Portrait by Patricia Kristoffersen.  It's in the book Masterpiece Doilies, available in her etsy shop.

This is an order i'm working on to recreate a doily.  There will be 24 motifs which are crocheted together.  The pattern seems close to Pinwheels Turning but sort of different.  I'm using size 30 thread and a 1.00 mm hook.

This doily is made with Knit Picks Curio thread in white and a 1.75 mm hook.  It measures 10 1/2".

Solar Brilliance

I finished the pattern for this doily yesterday.  It's called Solar Brilliance and the pattern is available for free here- Solar Brilliance.  It is 17 rounds and measures about 10 1/2".  The materials needed to make this are size 10 thread in 6 colors and a 1.75 mm hook.

So far iv'e made this pattern twice.  For the one in the first picture I used Artiste size 10 mercerized cotton in the colors cornsilk, gold dust, salmon, glacier ice, carribbean, and cornflower.  For the second one I used Aunt Lydias size 10 mercerized cotton in the colors white, cream, copper mist, light peach, aqua, and delft.

I will be making a pattern for a doily similar to this one.  It's the same until about round 10 and the last round is also the same.  The instructions will be for 1 color, but you can use as many as you want!
