Materials

• 1 300 yd ball of size 10 thread
• 1.75 mm hook

Special Stitches

shell- work (2 dc, ch 3, 2 dc) in space indicated

double shell- work (2 dc, ch 3, 2 dc, ch 3, 2dc) in space indicated

beg shell- ch 3,  work (dc, ch 3, 2 dc) in space indicated

tr decrease- (uses next 2 ch 3 spaces) keeping last loop of each tr on hook, tr in next 2 spaces, yo and draw through all 3 lps on hook

4-dc decrease- keeping last lp of each dc on hook, dc in next 4 dc, yo and draw through all 5 lps on hook

beg 2-dc cl- ch 2, dc in same sp

2-dc cl- keeping last lp of each dc on hook, 2 dc in sp indicated, yo and draw through all 3 lps on hook

picot- ch 4, sl st in top of last cl
