Succulent Scrubbies

These washcloths are quick and fun to make!  The back section is 4 rounds and the front is 6 rounds.  They measure about 6".  I used Red Heart scrubby cotton in the colors lavender, caribbean, tranquil print, calm print, and denim.  The front color is tan.   This is a photo tutorial on how to make them, written instructions are available here.

Round 6

Place the front over the back wrong sides together and right sides facing out.

Insert hook in the space on the front and between any 2 shells on the back and make a sl st (shown in the photos and steps below)

1- Insert hook into the space just made on the front
2- Then through the space between any 2 shells on the back
3- yarn over and pull through both spaces and loop on hook
4- slip stitch complete

Now working in the shell stitches on the back, sc in next 2 dc, (sc, picot, sc) in center space of the shell, sc in next 2 dc

[insert hook into next ch-4 space on the front and between next 2 shells on the back and make a sl st, sc in next 2 dc on the back, (sc, picot, sc) in center space of the shell, sc in next 2 dc] around, sl st in the first sl st

If you would like to add a loop for hanging, chain 12 (or until its the desired length) and sl st in the first sl st.  Fasten off and weave in ends.
