Snowy day and some crochet
Hello, It's already March and this is my first post of the year! I've been working on writing some of my patterns down. I need to try writing them as I go so it doesn't take as long lol. This is the one I'm currently working on writing a pattern for-
Here are some other things I've been making this year-
Flower bookmarks made with Knit Picks Curio thread and a 1.5 mm hook.
This bookmark has a shamrock charm on the tassel
A Valentine's Day angel with hearts on her wings and skirt
A heart ornament
This is my current project! The pattern is called State of the Art. I'm on round 42 and using size 20 thread with a 1.25 mm hook.
I will try to post more frequently and also get these patterns written down! Here's one last picture from today. After some warm weather I guess winter is back!

Snowflakes, doilies, and a mystery
Time to start making holiday decorations, even though i'm not finished making things for Halloween yet lol! I've made some snowflakes that still need to be starched. These are designed by Kathryn A. Clark from the book White Christmas in Thread Crochet. I'm working on having a few sets of them available in my etsy shop soon.
Here are some other projects I've been working on-
This is doily number 10/Precious, designed by Patricia Kristoffersen. I used Aunt Lydias size 10 thread and a 1.75 mm hook.
Pineapple fingerless gloves designed by Shirley Patterson.
Pineapple Seraphim tree topper. The pattern is designed by Cylinda Mathews.
I might try changing the outer rounds of this doily and leaving the center as it is.
Becharmed designed by Patricia Kristoffersen. I used Artiste size 10 thread in the color papaya with a 1.75 mm hook.
Bernat and Jo-Ann are having a mystery stitch along! So far three out of four clues have been released. The colors i'm using for my blanket are vintage white, light teal, country blue, and sailors delight. I also went with a larger hook, 10 mm. My helper decided to take a nap in the sun while I was taking pictures lol.

Halloween update
I wanted to share some things I've been making for Halloween! This is a spider bookmark I made yesterday. I want to try combining a few of them to make a spider doily!
A candlestick dripping red wax. I will try to have patterns available for this and the spider bookmark soon.
Orange flower bookmark with black leaves.
October Pumpkin doily by Karla Hartzell.
Fall Splendor doily designed by Gemma Owen.
Mister Fox visiting a spooky forest. The pattern is by Sharon Ojala.
This isn't crochet related but I've been playing the World of Warcraft Legion expansion and love it! My warlock recently got a new artifact weapon appearance and the title Netherlord. Here she is holding up the new weapon.
I got the artifact fishing pole last night! Now I need to catch more rare fish to unlock all of the traits.

November doily
This is the November doily from the book A Year of Doilies book 4, designed by Ocie Jordan. It is 35 rounds and has well written easy to follow instructions. There are 35 pineapples all together, the first set has 10 and the second set has 25. It measures about 15" and I used Aunt Lydia's size 10 ecru colored thread with a 1.5 mm hook.
I really like the A Year of Doilies books. In my collection I have books 2, 3, and 4. So far I've made a few of the doilies from books 2 and 4, none yet from book 3.
Took this picture on round 29

October doily
I'm starting to get my etsy shop ready for Halloween! Some of the things I plan on making are doilies, pouches, bookmarks, and a few other things (I know i'm being too ambitious lol) I made this doily a few times last year and really like the design. The pattern is called October by Delsie Rhoades and can be found in A Year of Doilies book 2. It's made with Knit Picks Curio black thread and a 1.5 mm hook and measures about 14 1/2".
Here are a few more Halloween and Autumn doilies that I've made.
I wanted to see how this would look using black thread. The pattern is available for free here- Primal Light. I used Aunt Lydias size 10 thread and a 1.75 mm hook.
Fall Splendor by Gemma Owen. I used Knit Picks Curio thread and a 1.5 mm hook.
October Pumpkin doily by Karla Hartzell. The pattern is in the A Year of Doilies book 4. I used Aunt Lydias size 10 thread in ecru, myrtle green, and orange.
I will post an update soon with more Halloween items :D

A Few Projects
These are two doilies I'm working on. One of them is a gift for my grandmother and I couldn't decide between white or ecru lol. The pattern is called Majestic by Patricia Kristoffersen. It's one of my favorites! I'm using size 10 thread and a 1.75 mm hook.
Here is the white doily with a few more rounds completed. Also shown are some other doilies that I'm making.
These are mini pot holders that can be used as ornaments or for decoration. They measure 2 1/2 to 2 3/4". The patterns are in the book Silhouette Hot Mats by Frances Hughes. I used size 10 thread and a 1.75 mm hook.
A cross bookmark with an angel wing charm on the tassel. The pattern is called Gothic Cross in the book Marks of Faith Bookmarks by Annie Potter.
Round doily by Mayumi Kawai in the book Kyuuto! Japanese Crafts Lacy Crochet. It's a great pattern and only 16 rounds. I've made it twice and plan on making more in different colors!
Succulents and a doily that kinda matches lol

A Few Projects
This past week I made two doilies and worked on some orders. I'm also preparing to update my etsy shop with more doilies, bookmarks, and other things soon! :D Here are a few crochet projects that I've been working on-
I finished this order of flower bookmarks yesterday. The pink flower is made with Garden size 10 thread in pink and fern. The red flower is made with Knit Picks Curio in Hollyberry and Ivy. The light lavender flower is made with Knit Picks Curio in Ice Lily and Sagebrush. All three flowers are made with a 1.75 mm hook.
I'm almost finished with an order for 100 bookmarks. Just a few more to go and then I will block them and make the tassels! The pattern is called Picot, Picot by Annie Potter.
For this doily I used size 10 thread and a 1.5 mm hook. The pattern is called Pineapple Portrait by Patricia Kristoffersen. It's in the book Masterpiece Doilies, available in her etsy shop.
This is an order i'm working on to recreate a doily. There will be 24 motifs which are crocheted together. The pattern seems close to Pinwheels Turning but sort of different. I'm using size 30 thread and a 1.00 mm hook.
This doily is made with Knit Picks Curio thread in white and a 1.75 mm hook. It measures 10 1/2".
