I made these 4 flower squares a few months ago and was thinking of making a blanket. Lately I've been interested in trying to make a pillow, and decided that's what they will become! The flower square is from the book Flower Granny Squares by Margaret Hubert. It's the Pink Cosmos pattern. I used Patons Grace yarn in the colors ginger, pink, and natural with a 3.25 mm hook. Around each square I used size 10 thread to crochet a border.
Here is the back of the pillow.
To make the pillow I bought one yard of fabric and cut two pieces in a 10" square. Then sewed the two together leaving about a 4" opening. I turned it inside out and filled it with stuffing, then finished sewing up the rest. The front and back are also crocheted together with thread.
What a great post! Absolutely loved the design and colour scheme of the pillow. I will be trying this out for myself however seems quite complicated so may take a few tries before I can knit it as fine as yours.
